Parish Life

Currently, mass is held in the school hall on a Saturday night at 6pm and Sunday morning at 9:30am.

At St Clare’s Catholic Primary school, we are lucky to be part of a vibrant and friendly parish in the heart of Lache, in Chester. We are also delighted to have our church right next door!

Fr Bernard, is our Parish Priest. He joined the Parish in 2023. Fr Bernard is highly active in school celebrating Masses and Sacraments with us. We are fortunate to have him supporting all our children in their faith journeys.

Fr Bernard liaises between home, school and parish providing nurture, care and support in a wide variety of ways. We value the strong links between home, school and parish as this is real evidence of our Christian community.

Members of the parish are warmly welcomed to join us for Masses and Special feast days. Many parishioners have shared how much they enjoy experiencing pupils’ active engagement in Mass. Pupils feel supported by the parish through key moments of their journey of faith. Parishioners are prayer sponsors for pupils when they are preparing to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.
