Our topic this term is 'Europe'
Homework will be given out on a Monday on MyMaths.
Reading - at least 5 times a week and recorded in the yellow reading book.
Our P.E. days are are a Tuesday and Thursday, however PE kit needs to be in every day just in case!
In P.E. this half term, we are learning important techniques in throwing, jumping, catching and running.
In English this half term, we are reading and rewriting 'The Smartest Giant in Town' by Julia Donaldson. We are also learning patterns and rhymes in poetry.
In Maths this half term, we are learning about Place Value. We will be looking at one more and one less, ordering and comparing numbers. We will then move to addition and subtraction, mentally using number bonds to support calculations.
This term in RE we are learning about God's Great Plan; the story of Creation from Genesis and Noah's Ark. Next half term, we are learning about Mary, Mother of God and the Birth of Jesus.
